Spend some time reading and reviewing so you can help your classmates learn and in turn, they will help you learn.

Our summer syllabus is available here: http://docs.google.com/View?id=df4fj645_373hrtp78cv

It’s a little different from the way we normally do it, but we are running on summer time, so…

9 As

12 Bs

11 Cs

5 other

Good work… way to keep working, the final really helped a lot of you. Remember that as you keep on working at the university, distributed practice and testing help. If it’s not set-up for you, create it yourself using online quizzes and self-testing.

Here is what everyone signed up for. If you missed class it looks like we might really need some folks tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon on the set-up. Come on out.

Be looking for Jim White and me. I have class from 3:55 to 5:30, but will be there during the other times.

This should be fun. Be sure and stay around for some great music!

I’m sharing a document so that I can edit it as I learn more.

Faculty Candidate in the Department of Psychology & Sociology
When:    Monday, April 13th at 2:30PM
Where:    NOC Room 106

Monkeys Count, What’s Next?

Over the past few years the topic of nonhuman primate cognition has been the focus of some of the most interesting and contentious debates in cognitive psychology.  The variety of exceptional cognitive abilities displayed by nonhuman primates has intrigued many of the most active and influential researchers in our discipline.  With the application of computer technology to the nonhuman primate research arena numerous new abilities, capacities, and applications have been discovered.  Computer-based studies of nonhuman primate short-term memory, long-term memory, visuospatial working memory, attention, and numerical cognition will be discussed.  Additionally, studies of the negative impact of long term exposure to microgravity (e.g., spaceflight) on nonhuman primate cognition will be discussed.

honors conference

March 30, 2009

We need to decide if we are going to meet on the afternoon of the honors conference or if we are going to make it up on Friday AND attend conference presentations.

Should we meet we will be in a different room on that Wednesday.

Robertson PSYC 1101 2:30 - 3:25 from NOC 017 to NOC 107 (Same size room but with individual desks; same computer equipment)

…if you haven’t looked lately take one.
